The SC1650 Mackissic Chipper is designed for larger properties in need of a dependable and durable machine for less than $4,000.

This chipper is considered to be our best overall value.

The SC1650 features 36 free-swinging hammers in the Shredder Chamber that produce up to 86,400 hits a minute.

The Chipper Rotor is equipped with a single heat-treated steel knife that aggressively chips branches and small trees up to 4 inches thick. In less then 60 seconds, the chipper will turn a 10 foot branch into clean, crisp, thumbnail sized chips that are the perfect size for mulching your garden.

The SC1650 is available in 2 models - SC1650E and the SC1650HTE. The SC1650E is tractor or ATV towable while the SC1650HTE is highway towable. The trailers for these machines have pneumatic tires for easy manuverability and smooth towing.

Both models are equipped with a powerful 16.5 Torque Briggs & Stratton Engine equipped with Key Electric Start.



What is a CHIPPER SCREEN?

Many of our customers ask us to explain the function of a Chipper Screen.

Chipper Screens are located at the bottom of the chipping chamber. They prevent the material being shredded from escaping until it can fall through the holes located in the screen. The smaller the hole, the longer the debris is held in the chipping chamber.

Each chippers is shipped with one standard screen which will satisfy the needs of most customers in normal conditions.

Other optional screens allow you to customize the discharged materials from your chipper to your exact needs.

Smaller screens result in finer mulch chips or to make compost for your garden. Larger screens make it easier to process fiberous or wet materials such as corn stalks or wet leaves.
